He made the pull/release mechanism for Glock use. We took a close look at the demo area and shot a frame day.
It was always a dream to get one for the Glock when Franklin Armory came out with the binary trigger. Until now, it seemed impossible. Well, the engineers at Franklin Armory did just that. Life finds a way. The Glock binary trigger is called the G-S173.

Franklin Armory will make a Glock binary trigger for the Glock 17, but it's not a standard trigger switch. In order for the Glock to have a binary trigger, they did magic with the slide to work with the trigger. So when you buy a Glock binary, it comes with a slide and trigger. You must provide your own barrel, frame and recoil spring.

You can see that the Glock dual slide is not the same as the standard Glock 17 OEM slide. There are cutouts on the slide to change the magic.
Like other binary triggers, the Glock binary trigger has a selector switch. This is the rotary selector switch on the left side of the slide. Turn up for one pull. Turn it down to drag/mount it in binary mode.
Franklin Armory had two prototypes on hand. Below is a better design with the optic cut out at the top.
Another prototype is shown below. They are not sure if they are going to cut Optics, and they are still deciding. I hope they do. They are also exploring options for slide trimming.

I shot the same thing at Range Day. I found the trigger to be a little different than I was used to. But it works. I also shot close to the trigger in slow motion to see how it moves in binary mode. There are some interesting things I learned at high speed about this trigger.
If you look closely at the slow motion footage, you can see the trigger restarting in two stages. Move forward mostly to the side and release the striker to throw the next round. Then, when the slide completes its rotation, the trigger is kicked back to its final position and the trigger is pulled back for the next shot.
Franklin Armory plans to sell the Glock binary G-S173 for $899. Some may have sticker shocks, but keep in mind that regular binary triggers are around $300 and HK binary triggers are around $700. This makes the slide only $199 more. You still need to provide your own barrel and recoil spring. They plan to air a season 2.
