Glock Binary Trigger Franklin - SHOT Show Range Day Franklin Armory announced the sound of everything. They released the Glock Binary Trigger. Yes, you read that right. The trigger/release trigger is for use on a Glock. We took a closer look at the show floor and shot at Range Day.
When Franklin Armory came out with their creation, it was always a dream for a Glock to have one. Until now, it seemed impossible. Well, the engineers at Franklin Armory did. Life finds a way. The Glock binary trigger is called the G-S173.

Franklin Armory will make their Glock binary trigger for the Glock 17, but it won't be an easy conversion. For the Glock to have a basic trigger, they did some magic in the slide to work with the trigger. So when you buy a Glock binary it will come with a slide and trigger. You will need to supply your own barrel, frame and recoil spring.

As you can see the Glock binary slide is not the same as the standard Glock 17 OEM slide. The slide is cut to use the magnet.
Like their other triggers, the Glock Binary Trigger will have a selector switch. This is the rotary selector switch on the left side of the slider. Look up for a single draw hole. Scroll down to drag/drop in binary mode.
Franklin Armory has two models. Below is a nice looking example with the optics cut out above.
Below is another example. They are still deciding whether they will offer an eye cut or not. I hope they do. They are looking for options with cut skis.
Reviews & Ratings For Opticsplanet Exclusive Franklin Armory Bfsiii Ar C1 Trigger
I shot it on Lookout Day. I found the trigger to be a little different than what I'm used to. But it works. I also took a slow motion shot of the trigger to see how it behaves when used in dual mode. I learned some interesting things about this movement at high speed.
If you watch the slow motion carefully you can see the trigger reset after releasing in two parts. It advances to the half and opens to the batsman for the next round. Once the slide is complete, the trigger moves forward to its final position where you pull the trigger again for the next shot.
Franklin Armory plans to sell the Glock Binary G-S173 for $899. Some may be shocked, remember that the standard binary trigger is around $300 and the HK binary code is $700. That makes the slide just an extra $199. You will need to provide your own barrel and source. They are planning for a Q2 release date.
